Wunderlich is now B. Riley Wealth Management

We are excited to introduce our new name, B. Riley Wealth Management, Inc. After more than 20 years of proudly serving clients as Wunderlich, we’ve changed our name to better align with our parent company, B. Riley Financial, and our fellow affiliates. The reason is simple – it’s you. Through this affiliation, we can offer you more products, deeper resources and broader expertise to serve all your financial needs.

What hasn’t changed is our client-first focus. We are as committed as ever to delivering the same responsive client service and personal touch you’ve come to expect from your financial advisor. And there is nothing you need to do …. The way you do business with us through your trusted financial advisor is not impacted in any way.

You’ll now see the B. Riley Wealth Management name and logo appear on communications from us, including account statements and other account documents. To learn more about what to expect with this transition, take a moment to review the questions and answers shared below.

As B. Riley Wealth Management, our passion for providing truly customized, unbiased financial counsel and responsive, personalized service has only gotten stronger. We look forward to delivering the full scope of B. Riley Wealth Management services to you today, tomorrow and well into the future.

As always, your financial advisor is here to answer any other questions you may have.

What to expect now that we are B. Riley Wealth Management:
1. Why are we changing our name? Since Wunderlich became a subsidiary of B. Riley Financial in July 2017, our clients have benefited from access to deeper resources and expanded capabilities available through B. Riley affiliates. Our new name simply reinforces our long-standing dedication to serving you.

2. When will I begin to see these changes?

Look for our new logo beginning in late July. At that time, most account documents like statements, trade confirmations and other reports, will display the B. Riley Wealth Management logo. The AccessOnline website where you go to view account information will be updated with the new branding in September. During this transition period, you may continue to use forms or documents with Wunderlich Securities references or logos.

3. What exactly is changing?

Just our name. Nothing about your brokerage account(s) is impacted by this name change. Legally changing the firm name to B. Riley Wealth Management is not a change of control and will not affect your account(s) or the way you do business with us.

4. Do I need to do anything?

No. There is nothing you will need to sign or do after our name changes. However, changing our name does require us to update certain regulatory filings, including the Form ADV, which means that clients with advisory accounts will receive notice by mail when the ADV is updated.
5. Will my relationship with my financial advisor be affected?

Not at all. Your financial advisor remains the primary contact on your accounts and will continue to provide the responsive, personalized service and financial counsel you have come to expect from us.

Advisor locations and phone numbers will stay the same, too. Email addresses will be updated to reflect a new domain – @brileywealth.com – in August. However, messages you send to the “@wundernet.com” email address will continue to be delivered to your advisor without disruption.

6. Are my accounts still safe?

Your brokerage accounts and the assets in those accounts are custodied with First Clearing‡ and that is not changing. Assets held in your brokerage accounts are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation and excess SIPC coverage provided through First Clearing. The name change has no impact on these protections which are described in more detail here.
7. The checks for my Advantage brokerage account include a Wunderlich logo – may I continue to use them? Yes, you may continue to use these checks without any disruption until your supply runs out. The next time you reorder checks for this account, a B. Riley Wealth Management logo will appear on the new checks. The brand change does not change the account number or routing information for your account.
